Do you ever start changing your life by changing your house? Honestly, I do. Some people move to new neighborhoods while others renivate their existing apartments and houses. New advanced construction materials make it possible to change something in your house with relatively moderate time and money investments. But I guess everyone faces the questions "To do or not to do?" and "If do - what?". Will removing this wall separating kitchen from the living room improve my domicile or on the contrary make it worse?
Yesterday a new website was launched that is intended for us to share our ideas and implemented projects - everything around our homes. HomeAndTell is a social network for people in love with their houses and willing to make them nice to live in and equally nice to look at.
Suppose, you want to renovate your bathroom. Sure, you can hire a professional interior designer and constructors. Chances are you will be satisfied with the results. But don't you feel like creating something yourself and for yourself? HomeAndTell provides you with an opportunity to view what other users have done with their bathrooms, rate their projects, discuss advantages (and mistakes, of course) in the forum - and eventually find useful ideas for your own creation.
There are some interesting projects on the website already - the results of its private operation for half a year. Besides, you can find some useful information in the website's library - the topics covered here range from indoor and decoration projects to experts opinions on various house-related issues.
I can definitely say that this new project is worth bookmarking for both regular users who will be able to find and share house-related ideas here and for professional designers and contractors.

We like all the new home sites coming into the mix, too. But we think our site, Decor Next Door is an alternative. Decor Next Door is a photo-sharing, social networking site, but with a specific experience in mind for its users: the giving and getting of professional design advice.
Thanks for checking us out.

The concept and the way the site is implemented match very well. There are a lot of rate my room kind of websites. A new one is called roominsight.com, which tried to create a kind of community:
It can be visited here: http://www.roominsight.com
