Junkdepot Needs Your Junk

Now I have found the perfect Web site! This is so Web 2.0 it may just change the way we think about our attics, garages and storage spaces forever. Junkdepot has created the eBay for die hard pack rats (or their spouses). We ran across this site and just had to announce this new venue to the world.
Junkdepot is essentially a clean and simple site to get rid of junk you don't want. As far as selling your items, Junkdepot may even be superior to eBay because it is easier and it is FREE. Walmart should support Junkdept because once your junk is gone, they can sell you even more. This has to be some kind of conspiracy, i just know it.
The site is designed for people to sell or buy unwanted items and to cross list items on partner sites like Google base and edgeio. Exposure over several popular sites helps unload your attic all the more quickly. Signing up and listing is a quick process and buyer and seller ratings are handled by RapLeaf. Junkdepot users can easily unload their attics and closets and pick up some spare change without paying eBay a commission or waiting 2 minutes for their pages to load either. Here is the list of features currently available:
Google Maps - To locate nearby sale items.
Integrated Rapleaf - For safe buying and reputation building.
Google Base & edgeio - Cross listing for maximum ad exposure.
Photo Hosting - Upload up to 5 photos of your items free.
Simple Messaging - Simple buyer contact.
Junkdepot has just started up, so there is not a lot of junk there at this moment. Why is this pure Web 2.0? Because it fills a niche and relieves a "point of pain" better than most startup sites I have seen. Junkdepot is simple, easy to use, and free. It fills the void in between eBay and the local newspaper, which is a pretty big gulf if you think about.
This takes the pressure off of people who do not want to have auctions, live on eBay or jump through 100 steps just to sell some junk! All that is needed to make this site complete is your junk. Check out this vintage Coke machine from back in the day!
